Kaibosh Food Rescue do amazing work for the Wellington community. They stop quality food from being needlessly thrown away, and redistribute it to people who need it most.
I've been researching food waste as part of my role to support Angie Warren-Clark MP. New Zealanders waste 122,500+ tonnes of food each year and if the world's food waste were a country, it would be the third largest greenhouse gas emitter in the world! Food rescue organisations like Kaibosh show how a problem can be turned into a solution - to save the planet and to feed hungry people.
Your donation would support Kaibosh and help me get over the Round the Bays 21KM finish line! To keep things interesting, if I hit $500 I'll run in a banana suit.
