Fundraising for Parkinson's New Zealand
Nationwide
I’m taking on my first half marathon and running 21km to raise money for Parkinson’s New Zealand. My grandma lived with Parkinson’s for basically my whole life before she passed, so I’ve seen firsthand the toll it can take as the disease progresses. Watching her struggle over the years was incredibly hard, and I don’t think enough people realise the mental and emotional strain Parkinson’s can have, not only on the person living with it but also on their loved ones. So, I thought running 21km voluntarily sounded like a great idea… questionable decision, but hopefully for a good cause! Any donation is a good donation, so help me fundraise for Parkinson’s and spread the word!
