Running for Pūkaha National Wildlife Centre

As a Zoology and Environmental Science student who loves to work out, my passion for wildlife and the outdoors has inspired me to support Pūkaha National Wildlife Centre by fundraising as I train to run the Auckland Marathon in November! After recently visiting Pūkaha for the first time, I was inspired by the work they do and the facility they have developed. Their work in rehabilitation, breeding and providing a safe haven for endangered native wildlife resonates with my passions and values, which is why I am eager to raise money to support their work! In a world where environmental conservation is often overlooked, I want to show people how important it is to prioritise the environment and to have places like Pūkaha.
