So I’m going to train for a half marathon (21.1km) to raise money for brain cancer. 🧠🏃♀️
Auckland
In 2017, I lost my dad to brain cancer. He was someone who truly lived life to the fullest, and losing him has had a lasting impact on my life.
I’m taking on the challenge of running a half marathon, despite having no running experience, to raise money for those affected by brain cancer.
I want to help support families and individuals who are facing the unimaginable challenges that come with a brain cancer diagnosis whether that’s through research, support services, or simply helping make an incredibly difficult time a little easier.
This challenge is my way of turning something incredibly painful in my life into something positive, while honouring my dad and the way he lived his life. ❤️
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will mean so much to me and help make a difference for others going through what my family went through.
