Tamariki with autism are awesome! As a special needs teacher of 7 boys with autism, I am blown away each day by their awesome-ness! They have also inspired me to do something awesome. On September 26th this year, I'm going to run 100km at the Blue Lake 24 Hour Challenge, running laps around the Blue Lake in Rotorua. All money raised will go straight to Autism NZ, a fantastic charity which provides resources and support for whānau and tamariki with autism, allowing them to continue doing amazing things.

As a special needs teacher of 7 wonderful boys with autism, I see the amazing things they can do every day. I am raising money for Autism NZ to continue providing my boys, and many others around NZ, with awesome resources and support.

Kia ora whānau. Thank you for all of your support. Mine and Paora’s whānau really appreciate it. As does Autism NZ, the charity we are fundraising for. Givealittle takes 5% of donations as their fee, so I’m going to put in $50 for every $1000 raised (5%) so that means that 100% of everyone’s donations will go straight to the Autism NZ charity.
