Running for Partners Relief and Development

Steph, Robert and I are running the Onehunga Half Marathon (21kms) to raise money for Partners Relief and Development.

Auckland

We have created this page because we want to run to make a difference by raising funds to support Partners.

Partners believe that children caught in conflict deserve a free, full life. They are working with communities affected by conflict, to meet children’s basic needs, prevent them being trafficked or exploited, and care for them in crisis situations.

They join hands with locals to seek community-based solutions that strengthen families, meet their needs in times of acute crisis and create nurturing environments that allow children to reach their full potential.

Rachel Lowen's involvement (page creator)

I have never run further than 8.5kms but have had completing a half marathon on my 'to do list'. When Steph asked if I wanted to do the Onehunga Half Marathon I felt like I had no excuse not to, besides the fact that it meant I would have to train in winter! We thought this would be a great opportunity to raise money for Partners Relief and Development.
