The pigs and dogs are loving their new home and are settling in beautifully! 🐷🐾 Your support has made this possible, and they are thriving in their safe and loving environment.

As shared previously, fencing costs have reached $66,000, and there are ongoing expenses for shelter, food, and care. We are also happy to share that Stu's legal costs are currently covered, so all funds raised are going directly to the care and well-being of the pigs.

Thank you for standing with us and helping these animals live the life they deserve. 💕

Many thanks to all the generous and wonderful people who have donated to the fund to re-home Stu's tame pigs. Thanks to Danette and Sandra who created this fund, and to HUHANZ, who have taken on the huge task to move and re-home these special pigs.

Stu will be so happy that his family are all safe !

  • UPDATE: HUHA has come to the rescue! 🐷💚

      19 December 2024

HUHA is stepping in to keep the pigs and dogs safe, with Stu’s blessing. To make this possible, HUHA urgently needs fencing for a new 10-acre paradise where the animals can live freely and happily. Funds raised will also go towards logistics and providing ongoing care, food, and shelter for these incredible animals.

Thank you to everyone who has already donated. This is an extremely expensive undertaking, and your support is deeply appreciated. All funds will go directly to HUHA to help the pigs and ensure their future safety.

    Thank you HUHA!

The reason for my previous question is as a property owner with protected native bush we had neighbours running wild pigs and they came onto our property and destroyed the native undergrowth and rooted/dug up our water lines for the troughs. They are also supposed to be considered a pest under DOC if running wild in the bush or not contained on your property. So that is why I asked re controlled safety and management of them at the 10 acre block.

It is with great pleasure I have helped for this cause. Stu is such a gentle loving guy. I met him 2 years ago at his site. He doesn’t deserve this., just loving his pigs and living his life..
