Blue and Yellow Mufti Day
Get your child’s school to join…. on our own we can make a small difference, united we can make a large one.
There have been many discussions in Kiwi households over recent days (we've certainly had many questions from our 8 and 6 year old) about the tragic situation unfolding in Ukraine, and the fact families are having to leave their homes and country with little more than the clothes on their back whilst fathers and brothers are left to defend their country against a foreign aggressor.
Our family decided it would be good to help in some way, but on our own we probably can’t make too much of a difference. We think it is important for children to feel that they are able to do something - even if it’s happening on the other side of the world.
So we came up with the idea of organising a 'Blue and Yellow' mufti day for our school. But then we thought actually, they need all the money they can get! So perhaps all schools could unite for this cause and every school do a ‘Blue and Yellow’ mufti day, or ‘Blue and Yellow' day if they don’t have a uniform.
