Two weeks ago a group of Filipinos came to New Zealand in the hope of bettering their lives.

Early morning on Wednesday the 19th of June 2019 while on their way to work, an unfortunate accident happened. Five male Filipinos were involved, three suffered serious injuries and two died on the spot. This heartbreaking news is so sudden and the Filipino community is in shock. In this light the Tauranga Filipino Society Incorporated is appealing to all Filipinos and Friends to please help fundraise for the victims and their families. We welcome any donations however small will be of great help to the beneficiaries.
