Shave Drew Kennedy's hair for Dementia - 1 May 2021

Today, 22 April 2021, on the occasion of the 5 year anniversary of my Grandmother's death from Dementia, I am kicking off my fundraiser to raise money for Dementia Auckland.

I will shave my excessive hair, as you can see from the photo, to a 'number one' cut!

My grandmother lived with Dementia for years before she died, and had wonderful support from family, friends, and carers in the facility she stayed at.

So, I think it good to shave my hair for a worthy cause, to give people in the future the ability to have the support ongoing, that Grandma had...

Any amount I raise will be worth it for me...

I will cut my hair on Saturday 1 May, and try to save and donate the hair to use for wigs.
