Shed my Kilos for Paediatric neurology.

    Well yet another weigh in day yesterday 9/7/13. It was 1 year since wee Brydie grew her angel wings, so it was a very sad day and a day of rememberance and reflection. I went to weight watchers to weigh in, but for the first time did not stay for the meeting, as the girls were all home so we could be together. I lost 1.9 kilo's, so my total is now 19.5 kilo's. I am 500gms off been 1/3 of the way to completing my challenge of losing 60 kilo's to raise money for Paediatric Neurology. Please donate to encourage me to keep going. xx

    As we approach the first anniversary of our wee Brydie losing her battle to Intractable epilepsy, I am trying to go to Anytime Fitness Cashmere as much as I can, as I find not only does it help with my weight loss but also helps me to get through the day. I also find it so controlling tracking what I eat with Weight Watchers, so that I don's have a bad day of out of controllable eating. Weigh in day today, I lost 1 kilo so now my total is 17.6 kilo's. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far and supported me in shedding my kilo's for Paediatric Neurology. x

    Well sunshine in Christchurch, the week before our first annual Butterfly Day to raise money for Paediatric neurology and weigh in day. I lost 2.1 kilos this week, which I am very pleased about, which brings my total to 16.6 kilos, so over quarter of the way to my GOAL. So help me get to my goal by donating, which will support children with Neurological disorders.xx

    Well weigh in day today and I lost 1.30 kilo's bringing my total to 14.5 kilo's. Everybody's support means so much to me and has encouraged me to get to this point, so PLEASE keep donating every dollar counts and will help assist and support Paediatric Neurology,

    Well weigh in day is here yet again. My 6th weigh in and this week I lost 800gms, which brings my total to 13.2 kilo's. I must admit I was a wee bit disappointed, but as life does had a busy week and a sad week with yet another anniversary of losing wee Brydie, so even though I stuck to my weight watchers eating plan, I only made it to the gym twice. So lesson learnt weight will not disappear unless I combine weight watchers and the gym!! Looking forward to the next week!!! x

    11 months today I lost my most gorgeous wee Brydie. She grew her wings and flew to heaven. It is a very sad day, most days are but each time a significant time event happens it reminds me how long I have been without my wee best friend. I started the day at 5.30am, by going to the gym! x

    What a pleasant surprise I had at weight watchers this morning when I weighed in. I have not made it to the gym all week as my eldest daughter has been unwell and then I got sick, but I was determined to stick to the weight watchers programme and I lost 2.3 kilo's, which brings my total now to 12.4 kilo's.. Thank you to everyone who has supported me to this point by donating. It really encourages me and shows me how many people are behind me in my Champion quest to raise money for such an important cause Paediatric Neurology! xx

    Weigh in day today and in 4 weeks I have lost 10.1 kilo's. I have noticed that due to the children all been different at different times and not been able to go to the gym, I have struggled coping with loosing Brydie and even though everday is a struggle, the gym definately helps. Thankyou to all that have donated so far your encouragement means so much to me xx

    Today I had the priviledge of meeting a group of amazing people when I went to speak to Weight Watchers New Brighton. Thank you for all your support and hugs, it is so encouraging for me to keep going, as it is so hard some days to even want to get up in the morning let alone go to the gym or not comfort myself with a treat, so Thank you! Also my shedkilos story is in the Christchurch Mail, so Thankyou to The Christchurch Mail for your amazing support and helping me to raise as much as I can while I shed the kilos I put on through this journey, but had I of not had this journey I would never of had the amazing priviledge of having Brydie as my daughter. xx

    Well, Tuesday again and weigh in day at Weight Watchers Cashmere. This week has been a difficult week for me to get to the gym, due to 2 children being unwell and off school. What I realised is I actually missed going to the gym and how much it helped not only my health but my coping mechanisms to be able to manage my day and my grief. It made my day today at weigh in to of lost 2.3 kilos this week which brings my total loss to 9.1 kilos. I will work extra hard this week as it will be hopefully the week I reach goal 1 which is 10 kilos, so PLEASE support me to get to my goal 1 and donate for Paediatric Neurology.

    Weigh in day today, which is always cause for nerves to rattle. So my day started at the gym doing my grueling but very satisfying workout, then off to Weight watchers to not only weigh in but listen to the very encouraging Julie talk and give tips. So today I lost 2.9 which brings my total loss to 6.8 kilo's. Bring it on, can't wait till weigh in Next Tuesday. So please encourage me to work hard this week by donating and helping all those Beautiful children who have Neurological Disorders. xx

    Well, it is Monday and off to the gym shortly. Yesterday was a tough day for me, the first Mother's Day without my wee Brydie. Tomorrow is weigh in day, so a big effort at the gym for me today and it will help me cope with the sadness of yesterday.

    Having finished a very tough work out with trainer Anna Priest at Anytime Fitness Cashmere this morning, I would like to say a HUGE Thank you to all that have donated so far, you are amazing and it is so encouraging for me to have your support. Today has been a hard day as it is 10 months since wee Brydie passed away and with your support I managed to force myself out of the house to go to the Gym, so Thank you very much! xxx

    Well that is my first week over!! Weigh day was yesterday and I lost 3.9 kilo's. My amazing support from Anytime Fitness Cashmere along with incredibly encouraging Personnal Trainer Anna Priest and also Julie who runs Weight Watchers Cashmere who is so inspirational I had a successful first week, that is not to say it was not a really hard week. It is 10 months tomorrow since we lost our wee Brydie and so starting to feel quite drained emotionally, but I am about to head off to the gym and hopefully after my workout I will feel like I can manage the day a bit easier. xx
