Fundraising for Westpac rescue helicopter and will be walking 1006 kilometres on the Bibbulmun track
Waikato, Thames-Coromandel District
About 5 years ago I had a surgery that didn't go to plan and as a result my nervous system has been seriously damaged. During my recovery things became overwhelming due to the lack of physical activity and immense pain I struggled to fight and couldn't see way through for the first time in my life. As a consequence I tried to take my own life. Through the love of my whanau and the medical help provided I survived. The Westpac rescue helicopter in NZ transported me to a much needed ICU where I began my fight and recovery journey. So I decided a year ago to walk the Bibbulmun track, 1006 end to end south bound journey. This journey is significant in my recovery and something I have dreamed of for sometime. I understand it won't be easy but that's what recovery looks like. So if you are in a situation to donate it would be appreciated. Also maybe just reach out to someone and do a check in, ask open ended questions that require something more than a yes or no

Hey Ness. Wow thanks heaps for your Koha. We may have lived in different parts of the world but it doesn't change the value of our friendship. Look forward to a catch up over Xmas maybe. Love from Stace
