Shuying's shave for children in need

$746 donated
Given by 17 generous donors in 25 days

Shuying is shaving her head to raise funds and awareness to support children with disabilities and children with cancer.

Hamilton, Waikato

Hello everyone! I am an early childhood teacher, and I’m taking part in a head shave to raise funds and awareness for children in need. This cause is very close to my heart, as the donations will directly support children with disabilities and children with cancer.

All contributions will go straight to Children with Disability NZ and the Child Cancer Foundation. Every donation—big or small—can help make a real difference in a child’s life.

Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and support!

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
