Sarah-Jayne doing Walk for Hector's

      8 March 2010

Hi all, what a week! We have done the walk, and It was fantastic.? Heathcote valley School along with Mayor Bob Parker gave us the best send off last Thursday.? All the children had made paper dolphins and huge banners and the was much cheering and clapping. We had incredible weather on the 1st day and were able to jump off the warf at Diamond Harbour to cool off.? Day 2 was a very long hard day to the Hill Top, with incredible views and also some rain.? Day 3 we took a little detour up to a 2000 year old Kauri tree.? Many blisters and sore feet later we arrived at Wainui to an afternoon tea of homemade cakes and lemonade.? I? really enjoyed the experience and the chance to update my knowledge of Banks Peninsula. Cheers S-J

Thankyou every one Watch good morning tv Thurs 4 March 8.20am, Ash and I will be shoputing about the cause!! S-J
