COVID-19 has put extra pressure on Foodbanks, with increased demand but less donations.

Canterbury

Foodbanks rely on regular food donations to provide parcels for people who are struggling to afford the essentials.

Unfortunately, COVID-19 restrictions mean that food cannot be donated at the current time. At the same time, the demand for food parcels has increased exponentially over the past couple of weeks.

Less food, and more need.

Organisations like the Christchurch City Mission are now relying on financial donations to be able to meet the needs of their communities during this hugely challenging time.

Everyone has been impacted financially by COVID-19, but if you can spare even

a few dollars, it can make a huge difference.

Keep me company and join me on Zoom from after 10am.
