$447 donated
Given by 10 generous donors in 19 days

Raising money for the Charity 'Smile Dial' which is a Charity that benefits the lives of families with special needs children.

Canterbury

On the 11th of Feb myself and Annabelle will be running the Buller Half Marathon and have decided to run for the Charity ’Smile Dial’. Smile Dial is a Charity that benefits the lives of children with special needs and their families in New Zealand. Raising awareness and money to this Charity is important to both Annabelle and myself as we both have siblings/families who can benefit from Charities like Smile Dial. The money we raise will go directly towards helping with ‘financial assistance, helping families fundraise, granting children’s wishes, organizing large affordable family events and much more. We welcome all donations as a little can go a long way and can have a huge positive impact.

Leah Macmillan's involvement (page creator)

We have decided to run for the Charity 'SmileDial' because we both have siblings/families who would of benefited from a Charity like 'SmileDial' and we believe people need to be more aware of the struggles the not only the child with special needs but also their loved ones. We can both relate to the struggles that they go through and the daily challenges that some of us would take for granted. If us running a half marathon can promote and raise awareness and money to support families than we know we are doing something right.
