Social action project for Dunedin night shelter

We are a group of University of Otago students completing a MANT252 group project, and we are raising money to support the Dunedin Night Shelter.

The Dunedin Night Shelter provides essential support for people experiencing homelessness, including a warm bed, evening meals, showers, laundry facilities, breakfast, and the option to pack a lunch.

Our goal is to raise enough money to purchase a steam cleaner for the Shelter. A steam cleaner will help staff clean and maintain mattresses and other areas of the facility, helping provide a cleaner, more hygienic and comfortable environment for those who rely on the Shelter.

The Shelter receives no central government funding, so fundraising and community support are vital to help maintain and improve its facilities.

Every donation, big or small, will bring us one step closer to purchasing the steam cleaner and making a practical difference to the Dunedin Night Shelter.
