Cousins and Best Friends, Sophie and Kylah are taking part in the kids Hawkes Bay Marathon, and they would love your help to raise money for the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter!
Sophie, 8 years old, was born at just 26 weeks gestation. 4 days before she was born, her mum was rushed to Waikato Hospital in none other than the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter. Both Sophie and her mum are very grateful for the service provided to them in their time of need. Sophie is looking forward to challenging herself and running 3kms for the first time.
Kylah, 5 years old, is a keen athlete who has never run more than 650m for her school cross country, and is setting herself a personal challenge to run 3kms. She loves to run and is excited about being a part of such a great event.
Both girls are putting their best foot forward!
