Challenging a Culture of Misogyny on Campus
Auckland
Speak up for her is campaign started in the University of Auckland by Women in Law and Te Rōpū Kahikatea.
Within the university of Auckland, there is much unseen and (seen) Misogyny on campus, wether it shows up in our attitudes, conversations or behaviours. Actively speaking up is one we stop misogyny. Whether it may be our friends, classmates or strangers, we can SPEAK UP FOR HER. We can create a new culture where we can have conversation, to change persistent attitudes of misogyny. The first step is to SPEAK UP.
We thought—if we can turn this campaign into something that not only raises awareness but also directly supports those who need it most, why wouldn’t we? Let’s use our voices and our steps to make real, tangible impact.
