Fundraising for Westpac Rescue Helicopter

Auckland

I’m running the Auckland Half Marathon to raise money for the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust.

This charity has a special connection to me. I’m a former student of Macleans College and was part of Batten Whānau home of the Buzzy Bee. ARHT was part of our House identity, so it feels incredibly meaningful to now support the same organisation myself, years after leaving school.

The Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust provides a vital emergency response service across Auckland and surrounding areas. When someone is seriously injured or critically ill, every minute matters. Behind every flight is an incredible team working to give people the best possible chance during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

For me, this run is about more than completing 21.1 km. It’s about taking the values I learned through my time at Macleans perseverance, service and giving back to the community and putting them towards something that can make a real difference.

From a former Batten student and Buzzy Bee 🐝 to supporting the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust 🚁, I’d love to raise what I can for the incredible work they do.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every contribution helps support ARHT and the lifesaving work they do for our community.

Thank you for supporting my run, and more importantly, the people who are there when our community needs them most.

Through hardships to the stars. Per Aspera Ad Astra.
