I jumped as scheduled at 4:30 PM on Thursday, 16 September. I was nervous preceding the jump, never having leapt from 192 metres before, but became calmer with a couple of minutes to go. My nerves spiked again on the platform, walking to the edge, as the height became obvious and final safety checks were completed. Then, a countdown, and I jumped... https://www.dropbox.com/s/2f08mfn7zoc7ba2/AJH-SJ-20220915-040-001-0001-Vid01.mp4?dl=0
Thanks again for your support. To date I've raised $620 against my target of $576 and Graeme Dingle Foundation also exceeded their fundraising target for Drop Your Boss. All in all, an exhilarating experience for a worthy cause!
Thanks everyone for your generous donations; you'll be pleased to know Graeme Dingle Foundation has already met and exceeded their fundraising target for Drop Your Boss of $50,000. With me matching my largest donation to date of $100, I will also surpass my target of $576, so thanks again for your support, I really appreciate it!
My jump is at 4:30 PM today and I will be sure to share my GoPro footage and any other media with you after the event.
Now all I need to worry about is, how will I feel looking down from 192 metres about to jump...?
