Join our heartfelt efforts to make a difference in the life of Canada, who is facing the unimaginable challenges.
Christchurch, Canterbury
Join the Te Kaha stadium project team in our heartfelt efforts to make a difference in the life of Canada, who is facing the unimaginable challenges of incurable oesophageal and liver cancer. Our charity page is dedicated to raising funds for the charity of Canada’s choice, being the St John in Schools programme. The Te Kaha Project & RCP office will be undertaking the Mud Sweat & Tears challenge in a bid to raise money for a great cause.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will help St Johns provide the programme that’s purpose is to enable children to have the skills and confidence to respond in an emergency. Until her diagnosis Canada worked as an emergency call handler and more recently as an ambulance dispatcher at St Johns and so she knows first-hand the value of children being able to help in an emergency. To deliver the programme there is a cost for educators, vehicles and resources for students, which works out at approximately $280 per classroom session. Your contribution will help St Johns continue to deliver this important service and reach more tamariki.
