S.TA.R.T Taranaki Basketball Gear Fundraiser
This page aims to raise funds to help maintain the basketball court at START Taranaki.
Nationwide
The basis of START Taranaki’s programme places emphasis on building meaningful relationships between staff and participants. It is the attachment between young people and positive role models which allows START’s young people to feel safe, cared for and able to make positive changes.
A lot of these positive relationships are nurtured on the basketball court at START. The boys' and staff love basketball and the energy, laughter, competitiveness and camaraderie on the court is incredible to watch.

I was involved with S.T.A.R.T for a short time filming a documentary. I saw the boys on the programme really enjoying Basketball and there was so much positive energy on the court. I have a network of old basketball friends involved with the "Foilers" from high school who I know would love to help out.
