Steve Smith - Drop Your Boss 2021

$935 of $1,000 goal
Given by 25 generous donors in around 4 months

I'm skydiving to raise funds so no child is left behind. Help kids get the chance in life they all deserve by donating to support them.

Bay of Plenty

Every year the Graeme Dingle Foundation hold an event called Drop Your Boss and this year I have been convinced into taking part. A foundation belief of the foundation is that "what you have on the inside is greater than any obstacle you may face". In the spirit of that ethos, I am making the leap, 12,000 feet out of a plane, to help raise money towards the incredible work the foundation does here in our own community.

I'm also wanting to challenge myself and face my biggest fear - heights! This is something that I have always said I would never do... But with enough motivation and for a fantastic cause I am willing to step up (or more accurately... step off the plane!).

The Graeme Dingle Foundation runs Project K, Kiwi Can, Career Navigator and Stars; reaching over 3,700 young people in the Western Bay of Plenty. These are all proven and successful school-based programmes that aim to inspire young people to reach their full potential by helping to build their self-esteem, promote good values and teach valuable life, education and health skills.

The Graeme Dingle Foundation is an incredible organisation, offering our young people some amazing opportunities to become the best version of themselves. I am jumping so I can demonstrate to our tamariki and rangatahi that you can overcome any fear and achieve your goals with the right support and mind-set. All the funds I raise through my efforts go directly to the foundation to help them continue their mahi.

As a local business owner I am very invested in making our community the best place in NZ to grow up. I know not all young people are given equal support and opportunity, and by jumping for Graeme Dingle Foundation I am contributing towards helping every child to reach their full potential and to create the future they want.

Help me support this critical work and donate to my skydive. Every bit helps!
