Participating in Help Kiwis Fly
Otago
In June 2022 I have been given the opportunity to travel to America with four other care experienced youth advocates to represent VOYCE Whakarongo Mai and New Zealand. I will be attending a national conference with U.S. foster youth organisers and will bringing back knowledge of what it's like to be a foster in the U.S.
In order to attend this exciting event I have committed to raising $1000 towards the $50,000 budget. This is my first time raising money in this way, and I would love and appreciate your support.

We are VOYCE – Whakarongo Mai, which stands for Voice of the Young and Care Experienced – Listen to me. We believe children and young people in care need to be heard, and at the centre of all the decisions made about them.
Increasing my goal along with my co-travelers! 8 May 2022
The costs of travel have increased in the last few months and all of the youth travellers are working to help cover those costs. Thank you to all who have given and thank you to those who will be giving. Your support is helping us care experienced kiwis to fly!
