All my life I have struggled with navigating undiagnosed ADHD. I always saw myself as different, but due to not being diagnosed, the lack of knowledge led to some serious mental health battles I had to fight on my own. I don't want that for our future generation. Through talking and educating ourselves, a true difference can be made and seen in our tamariki. It has taken 21 years for me to be diagnosed and get the appropriate help for my disability. I don't want our children now to go through that same suffering. Help me help them. Help me use my knowledge and story to rewrite the narrative.
