Support our For We Love Gala fundraiser for Radio Lollipop and help bring comfort and joy to children in hospital.

When I was four, I spent time at Starship Children’s Hospital. The Radio Lollipop volunteers showed me so much kindness and care. Their warmth stayed with me, and I wanted to help other children feel that same comfort. With my family’s support, that wish grew into the For We Love Gala in 2018. Our hope has always been to raise funds for Radio Lollipop and bring more people together to support children in hospital.

In additional to our other fundraisers to Radio Lollipop, we’re hoping to raise a further $2,000 in donations.

• Our first $500: A month of arts and crafts, giving children opportunities to create, imagine and enjoy themselves.

• Our next $500 — reaching $1,000: Games and music for a year, bringing play and happiness into children’s hospital days.

• Our third $500 — reaching $1,500: “Lights, Camera, Action!” Bringing the Radio Lollipop studio to life with bean bags, lighting, a gathering drum and sensory resources.

• A bonus $500 — reaching $2,000: A contribution towards Christmas gifts for children who are too unwell to be home for Christmas.

I’m 13 now, but the wish I had at four is still close to my heart. I remember what that kindness meant to me, and I hope we can pass it on together.
