We are collecting donations for UNICEF, who are delivering vital supplies to save lives as Covid 19 cases continue to rise in India.
Auckland
As the Covid-19 situation rapidly escalates in India many of us have been watching the heart-breaking events unfold on our TV screens and feeling helpless, asking ourselves – what can I do from here?
From afar, one of the most helpful and life-saving things we can do is to provide financial support and resources for India, so we are collecting donations for UNICEF, who are racing against time to deliver vital supplies and save lives as cases continue to rise.
We understand not everyone is able to give, but if you can, every little bit counts and will help to make a difference. Vodafone and the Vodafone Foundation will both match donations, so for every $10 donated, $30 will go to help on the ground in India.
UNICEF’s work
UNICEF is currently working with partners to support the response, by sending critical lifesaving supplies and services such as oxygen, protective clothing and testing machines, deploying experts to the worst hit areas to support authorities, assisting with the distribution of vaccines, and supporting communities and essential workers.
Vodafone has many staff impacted by the Covid 19 pandemic situation in India. We are collecting donations for UNICEF, which will be doubled by Vodafone and the Vodafone Foundation.
Thank you for supporting India through UNICEF NZ 4 June 2021
Thank you very much to all who supported this campaign. Your generosity has contributed towards a fantastic total of $469,950 donated to UNICEF New Zealand to support their COVID-19 crisis response in India. The amazing, heart-warming total of $156,650 from 541 Givealittle donations has been matched by both Vodafone New Zealand and the Vodafone New Zealand Foundation to make this massive total of support for those in India. Thank you so much for being a part of this.
That's great. Westpac, thanks very much for your support.
