Yorb is taking on the Te Āpiti Traverse (https://teapititraverse.nz/) on 19 September 2026 — a challenging trail event crossing the ranges between the Manawatū and Tararua districts — to raise money for Arohanui Hospice (https://www.arohanuihospice.org.nz/).

Arohanui Hospice provides specialist palliative care, completely free of charge, to people with life-limiting illnesses across Manawatū, Tararua, Horowhenua and Rangitikei. They support more than 1,100 patients and their whānau every year, offering everything from in-home nursing and 24-hour advice to inpatient care, day programmes, and bereavement support. None of this is funded by patient fees, so community fundraising like this is what keeps their doors open.
