Ultra Marathon to raise money for cleft Nz
Bay of Plenty
Kia ora Koutou,
Ko Harrison ahau, I am the proud uncle of a brave little girl named, Bowie Rain. She was born with a cleft condition; I am reaching out to share a cause that has become incredibly meaningful to our family.
Cleft New Zealand has played a pivotal role in providing support and resources for Bowie and her parents. They understand the unique challenges that come with raising a child with a cleft condition, and their mission resonates deeply with us.
From the beginning, I have witnessed the courage and resilience displayed by Bowie. The early years, marked by feeding difficulties and medical procedures, have been a testament to her strength. As an uncle, it has been both inspiring and heart-wrenching to see Bowie face these challenges head-on.
I am excited to share that I am lacing up the shoes to run my first ultra marathon April 6th 2024 in honour of Bowie and to tautoko the good work of Cleft New Zealand, and I invite you to join me in making a positive impact. Your donation will directly contribute to providing essential medical care, emotional support, and resources for families navigating the complexities of raising a child with a cleft condition.
Thank you, support means the world to our family and, most importantly, to the resilient children facing unique challenges every day.
