Swim the Queen Charlotte for Chopper

The importance of the Westpac Chopper service was highlighted when my Uncle collapsed from a heart attack on Waiheke's Onetangi Beach where he lives. The chopper was there in minutes, they had to resuscitate him twice in the air before arriving at Auckland hospital where they performed a triple bypass a few days later. He’s now stable and recovering but if wasn't for Auckland Westpac Rescue Chopper we may not be celebrating his 71 birthday.
