Bay of Plenty

As a combined group of 52 we are coming together to compete in the Tinman Triathlon.

This is a Sub page for the fundraising of Tania, Heidi, Fiona, Tom, Krystal, Vaughan, Georgie and Kirsty.

The idea is to raise awareness of the importance of Parkinson suffers to be active and push back against this challenging disease, also to support the Waikato branch of the Parkinson’s New Zealand.

The Triathlon is held at Mount Maunganui in Tauranga on the 19th of November. We would love any supporters (Watch out for our snazzy red shirts!) to come and cheer. (Wear red if you dare!)

Stephanie Bennett's involvement (page creator)

Martin is a good family friend has Parkinson's and is working hard to push back against the effects and challenges that come with this condition that to this day has no known cure. We are involved to help fundraise, support him and to bring awareness to Parkinson's in general

With this in mind, the challenge was made to help himself (and the rest of us!) to keep active with a focus, a goal and a reason to keep active.
