Waipuna Hospice provides such a wonderful service to our community. Did you know...
- This year they expect to care for 1000 patients and provide support services for their families.
- Last year their nurses made more than 14,320 visits and over 20,000 phone calls to patients in the community.
- Around 740 volunteers support all components of their service.
- They need to raise over $2.7 million this financial year to meet the shortfall between their Government funding and their operating costs.
And I can help by gaining sponsorship to climb the Mount 38 times over the next 50 days!

Waipuna Hospice provides specialist medical services, nursing care and support to people living with an illness for which cure is no longer an option. They care for patients and their families living in Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty.
