Taradale Branch Supporting Westpac Chopper Virtual Appeal 2021

On May 27th 2020 ironically during our chopper appeal month - Taradale Branch staff member Kim Golds received a call no one wants to receive. Her husband Terry was at home and experiencing severe chest pains. An ambulance was called and it was determined that Terry was having a serious heart attack. He was rushed by ambulance to the chopper pad in Hastings and flown directly to Wellington by the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter which is the rescue helicopter unit here in Hawkes Bay. Thanks primarily to this service Terry was able to get the help he needed quickly which meant that he is still with us today. Rescue helicopters are such an important service here in NZ, please get behind this cause and help us to raise as much as we can to make sure this service is still available when you, your family or friends may need it.
