Teach children how to grow their own food

Garden to Table support educating our children to grow and harvest vegetables, using a environmentally sustainable garden. They then learn how to cook healthy, nutritious and tasty meals using their own home grown ingredients. A lost art in todays cities. In a world where food comes from the supermarket, full of preservatives or irradiated to last longer on the shelves, I think the initiative to turn back the tide of nutritionally poor food and the reliance on a third party to deliver this to us, is marvelous. Self sufficiency is our future health.
