Hey everyone - thanks heaps for your donations for our K4 effort and to help Angela - we managed to get to $2000 today and its now up to $2260. Awesome!! Getting some big kms in now in training. We're also involved in another fundraising effort - my brother Aaron is cooking on My Kitchen Rules on TV and he offered to put himself and mate Josh up for auction to cook a 3 course meal for 10. Plus Neena & Belinda, who are also contestants are doing the same. So we've got them on trademe, and there is also an auction and social function at Sarnia Park on Saturday night. THANKYOU to everyone who has donated to our fundraising page to get Angela Sunkel the treatment she needs for leukemia. So far the total is $1690 which is GREAT. The TGR team will be heading out for a 5 hour training ride early Sunday morning, I know that doesn't sound like fun, but seeing these donations coming in is such a big motivator, it's awesome. And knowing that it will help get Angela what she needs really helps get us out the door and gets us up and over those hills. It's fantastic to see how the Te Awamutu Sports Cycling Club is getting behind us with donations.
