The beat goes on with Radio Lollipop....

  • That’s a wrap!

      2 December 2018

Over the last two months I have been blown away with the support this Givealittle Page has received.

That’s 8 weeks, 80,640 minutes or approximately 4,838,400 seconds, or for me, 616 medical tablets I’ve swallowed and I don’t want to think about the number of needles that have stuck me over the last 8 weeks.

During that time, 77 generous people donated their hard earned money to help Radio Lollipop cheer up other sick kids like me. Mum tells me that 77 people joined together to create something bigger than their individual selves. 77 generous people thought about others during their busy lives and took the time to donate.

Isn’t that amazing! I reckon it’s awesome, almost as awesome as the total amount I’ve managed to get donated for Radio Lollipop.

Counting all the donations on this page, and the direct donation my old primary school paid direct to Starship on my behalf we’ve managed to donate just over $8,500!!!

That’s a whole lot of money people! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thanks for believing in me, believing in what I’m doing and for believing in what Radio Lollipop does.

I wouldn’t have ever wished for Crohn’s disease, but it’s not all bad. I’ve learnt how hard doctors and nurses work, I’ve learnt that hospitals aren’t scary places, and I’ve learnt about the power of music and laughter when you’re having a bad time.

I’ve also learnt that people are kind and generous, you guys with your donations will help other sick and scared kids find their silver lining in their own personal rain clouds.

    Thank you.

    Hunter x

  • Don’t look now but...

      21 November 2018

Just when I thought things couldn’t get better with our fundraising cause...Boom!

My awesome school Saint Kentigern College, decided to support me on my mission to do the best I can for Radio Lollipop. The year 7 & 8 team held a special mufti day for me this week and managed to raise just over $1,500!!

Can you believe that? I’ve been so lucky to have such amazing support with my fundraising, I never thought this would be possible. Again I’m not sure if the school can put the money raised through this page, so we may not get the full picture on here, but I will let you know the final total when we shut this page down at the beginning of December.

  • Cockle Bay School Rocks

      6 November 2018

I just wanted to share how amazing my old primary school Cockle Bay is. Today they donated $963 to Radio Lollipop in my name - I can’t believe it! The money came from a school mufti day and the school councillors decided that the cause they wanted to support was my fundraising drive for Radio Lollipop - AMAZING! We can’t see the total on here because of technical things I don’t understand about donations, but I’m very very grateful for the support from my friends at CBS - aren’t they awesome.😊

  • Mind boggling

      24 October 2018

I never ever imagined that we could reach the amount that we have. I honestly didn’t think past raising $1000, I was so excited to be able to facilitate that amount of money for Radio Lollipop.

But now, being so close to $4,500 is more than I’ve ever dreamed of. I can’t wait to see what Radio Lollipop can do with all of our donations.

I’m so proud to be part of this with everyone, thanks so much for exceeding my dreams - it’s mind boggling stuff!

  • My mind is blown!

      21 October 2018

I went to bed last night over the moon with all the donations on this page. I couldn’t believe that so many people are behind me on this quest.

But when I woke up this morning.... EPIC!! I couldn’t believe my eyes. We’ve doubled my original target in under a week.

Thank you so much for believing in me, encouraging me on my journey with Crohn’s and supporting my chosen cause with Radio Lollipop.

I can’t believe how lucky I am to have you all on board with me.

Thanks heaps AGAIN. If we can do this in a week, imagine what we can do with more time.👏🏻👏🏻

  • Thank you

      19 October 2018

Wow! I can’t believe how generous everyone has been. You blew my initial fundraising target out of the water in under 24hrs!!

I’m so excited that through your continued generosity, more kids will get to smile, laugh and forget why they are in hospital for a bit.

    Let’s keep it going.

    You guys are awesome. Xxx
