We did it!! (the running part)
21 June 2021Hey team,
So the big day has been and gone, and wowwee what a night it was.
It was definitely a challenge to do a run in the dark without knowing where or what to expect on course with the rain being an added bonus. The aim was under 2 hours which I didn't quite achieve but we weren't too far off.
Total fundraised amount come to $1705 which meant I ran in my shoes but it is probably just as well, this would not have been a great course in gumboots that is for certain.
The pictures attached are of my Garmin account as well as race placing and mat time.
Once again a massive thank you for your support with this little project of mine, it is absolutely appreciated!

Ticking along nicely
29 May 2021It's been a busy couple of weeks, with training in full swing as well as work.
While we were milking running became an evening task, before having a chance to change my mind about running in the dark and/or cold I'd get home put my shoes on and out the door we went again.
Now we have completely dried off for the season, so running has become a before work task. 5.30am out the door running 10 kms 4-5 mornings a week before work.
I aim to do 1 big run in the weekend usually being between 15 and 20 kms
One last thing before i go, I just wanted to personally thank everyone for their support. Its such an awesome feeling having such amazing people in my life so cheers guys and girls!
