Fundraising for Cholmondeley Children's Centre
Canterbury
Cholmondeley is turning 100 in 2025. We are so proud to be one of New Zealand’s oldest charities. We are kicking off our 100 years celebration and fundraising with the Great 100 Year Bike for Cholmondeley.
Nettles Lamont, Chair of Cholmondeley will bike alongside Nuk Korako, Cholmondeley Patron from Cape Reinga to Wellington, starting on Saturday the 11th January.
Nuk has previously completed a fundraising ride in support of a young woman who needed major surgery. We are thrilled our patron is bringing his passion to help us kick off the Great 100 Year Bike ride of Aoteroa for Cholmondeley in its 100th year!
We are hoping to raise up to $250,000 with help from our generous supporters, and wonderful sponsors.
We are riding this first North Island leg to fundraise and to reconnect with the Cholmondeley family, Cholmondeley alumni, and everyone who has been connected in some way with Cholmondeley over the last 100 years.
Along the way we want to stop and have a cuppa, so if you are part of the Cholmondeley whanau, past or present, reach out – we’d love to see you on our trip.
We will kick off the South Island leg in late March or April and we are looking for wonderful corporates to complete 150 km legs in support of Cholmondeley. The South Island will follow the Tour Aotearoa predominantly off road route.
