This is my way to support those who support others.
Bay of Plenty
Waipuna Hospice is a friendly and fantastic Hospice.
Waipuna Hospice provides specialist medical care for patients living with a life-limiting illness, and support services for them and their families within the Waihi and Paengaroa area. They also operate seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
Hospice exists to provide support and care for people in the last phases of an incurable disease so that they may live as fully and as comfortably as possible.
Last year my family and I, lost our loving dad to multiple illnesses. There wasn't a lot we could do except show him as much love as possible and help him live as comfortably as possible.
I am doing this challenge to help them further their growth so they can provide more care and help, for their growing amounts of patients and the support of their families.
The mission:
Get to the top of Mt. Maunganui 38 times within a 50 day period (Ends 30 March).
I will take a picture at the top of every climb with a random person, holding a whiteboard showing the date and time.
No yarns! :D
So if you see me, come say Hi! and you might even get a photo :)
Please help donate and/or share this post to help me smash my $200 goal for this fantastic :D
There wasn't a lot I could do for my ill father being far away from home. I had to trust in the people who helped care for my father. This is my way of saying thank you to them and thank you for helping others.
The Mount Everest Challenge is back! Join us and Climb the Mount 38 times in 50 days to raise money for Waipuna Hospice.
