Charities Registration Number: CC50076
Address: 99 Trigg Road, Kumeū 0891
Our Auckland communities have so many abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens. We offer a sanctuary to unwanted stray cats in a protected environment where all their needs are met in an indoor/outdoor environment. We will de-sex, vaccinate, and microchip every stray cat. The NZ Cat Foundation is home to more than 200 cats in desperate need of food and donations.
We offer a safe sanctuary for older, disadvantaged and un-homeable rescue cats where they can live out their lives in safety and comfort. We rely heavily on volunteers daily and desperately need more and financial help. In addition, you can adopt a suitable cat and give them a loving home.
Our mission
1. Our mission is to educate and assist people throughout New Zealand about the psychological and physiological health benefits of caring for cats as pets.
2. To foster and encourage the kind and humane treatment of cats. We actively work to prevent and discourage cruelty to or harsh, thoughtless treatment of cats.
3. Establish and maintain facilities for caring for cats, particularly those needing veterinary treatment. Importantly, to de-sex, vaccinate, and microchip community cats to prevent their proliferation in the most kindly and humane way possible.
4. To support the charitable work of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Auckland.
Let's do something to help lovely cats. The NZ Cat Foundation: hope that one day each of them will have a loving home. 1 August 2023
