Shave for a Double Play

How would you like to see seven years worth of dread-lock growth shaved off entirely in the name of a good cause?

Hi, I'm Rowann and I am looking to raise $2000 for I Am Hope by offering my long-loved hairstyle up to the razor.

I personally understand what it is like to go through a dark time in life and am eternally grateful that I got into playing softball - the support network in my team is invaluable and we all look after each other; something that is super good to see and really important in this day and age, especially in New Zealand where there are poor statistics for men's mental health.

UPDATE: The BIG Shave itself will take place on Club Day November 23rd, and will be live streamed to our Facebook page, so anyone not able to be personally present can still witness the fun! (exact time on the date TBC)

Previously I was going to put some of the money towards my Softball Club, but we've since decided to simplify the fundraising by sending all funds raised towards I Am Hope. We have extended the date to allow more fundraising due to these changes.
