Auckland
I will cycle each day posting a video of your fun at my expense (see the donation options)of February, you donations will fuel the Chatbus service which has growing need to service the kids with counselling...
The Chatbus is a mobile counselling service for primary and intermediate age school kids. Started 13 years ago by my Kindy Teacher Averil Pierce; who has grown it to 7 buses and 8 counsellors and continue to gain requests to expand with more schools and more areas - Dunedin to Invercargill and parts of Central Otago, of course, have wheels, can travel.
I wish this service was available when I was a kid, so between Averil being my kindy teacher and first unofficial counsellor I felt it was time i supported something close to my heart in many ways, as they say "Charity starts at home".
You'll hear from Averil in our YARN interviews, the details of requirements, this runs entirely on grants and donations, so you help has a direct impact in helping kids.
Whether it is major problems of Mental Health, Homelife, School Life, or Social life for kids Chatbus helps everyone regardless - sometimes it is the skills to deal with a problem between friends or other life skills kids aren't being taught to major counselling and support.
You can DONATE:
$5 - A coffees worth or more is all we ask, please
$50 to Paint a Fingernail
$100 for Mention/thanks on video, press ups, random exercise extra
$250 to wear your Company T-shirt, Sing a song,

Chatbus is a mobile counselling service for Primary and Intermediate age kids. As a kid who suffered a lot of bullying that affected me throughout my life and continues to, I wish this service was around when I was kid.
