    Great day though with the other jumpers and the foundation charity that made this a success. Proud to be a part of the charity.

    Message from the Skydive Organizer... Drum Roll

    Hi everyone!

    We've topped $50k!!

    Well done everyone, an incredible result so far... and the tally continues to climb!! Awesome efforts all round.

    Looking forward to seeing many of you along this evening for the Pizza Night. It's shaping up to be a great evening... we're looking at 100+ guests! Such great support from the community. Be there from 5.30, pizza's from 6pm.

    See below for the game-plan for Saturday. There are 30 'droppers', so I've split these into 3 arrival times - please arrive at Skydive Abel Tasman at (or before) the allocated time. There will be a little flexibility around actual drop times (as numbers per flight are dependant on the number of people getting filmed etc)... but generally there are around 4 people per flight, and a flight every 30 minutes. Aim for a relaxing morning/arvo in the sun watching happy faces float peacefully back down to earth... or something similar!!

    Family, friends and supporters most welcome. There will be a BBQ and we'll have some food available. If we can aim for a big group photo around midday(ish) that would be fantastic!!

    Twelve days left and its getting real!

    Feeling a little anxious at this point, but looking forward to a great day celebrating a great cause.

    Thank you again to all of you who have helped make a difference to the youth of New Zealand through this fundraiser.

    The overall total from the 26 participants is currently $45,238.70..... That's supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

    Ive hit the $2000 dollar mark. Thank you everyone for helping me achieve this goal.

    Jump Day:

    The Foundation organizers are meeting with the Abel Tasman Skydive crew soon to firm up some timeframes, now that they have a good idea of numbers.

    Here's what Kelvin Watt from the Foundation had to say about the day......

    As a general guide, we'll look to have everyone meet at the skydive base in Motueka at 10am on Sat 22 Feb. Please encourage family, friends and supporters to come and be a part of the day. Abel Tasman Skydive have a great space to relax, mingle and watch the jumpers. There'll be a BBQ and food available. I'd anticipate a timeframe of around 10am-2pm... more info to follow and timeframes to be confirmed.

    The Cause:

    Graeme Dingle Foundation Marlborough is very much a Marlborough charity... we are 99% funded by the local community and FYI, around 24% of our funding is through successful local fundraising events, like Drop For Youth. We are incredibly fortunate to have such great support from local people like yourselves - we couldn't do what we do without you!

    This year our programmes will reach over 3000 local young people... with the majority of them (around 2800) involved weekly! Kiwi Can continues to expand this year, and will be in 15 local primary schools (impacting 60% of Marlborough primary-aged kids!), Stars peer mentoring programme is beginning in MGC, and Career Navigator will continue through MBC and MGC.

    Thanks so much to each of you for being a part of the GDF Marlborough team.

    Thank you everyone. We are now into the new year and I have been busy fundraising to try and make my little effort count for Marlborough’s Youth.

    Still time to donate if you can. Every little cent is much appreciated to this cause.

    I’ll be having the jump filmed and photographed so you won’t be disappointed watching me scream my lungs out.....
