Fundraising for Take a Step Walkathon for Cyclone Gabrielle
Auckland
Cyclone Gabrielle's devastating impact has left regions in New Zealand severely affected, with damages estimated at NZ$13.5 billion. Essential infrastructure such as roads, rail tracks, houses, and crops have been destroyed, and hundreds of people have had to evacuate, leaving 10,000 individuals displaced.
I am participating in the first-ever national walkathon organised by BAPS Charities as a fundraiser for the families affected by cyclone Gabrielle.
This walkathon is going to take place in three major cities of New Zealand- Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch on 7th May 2023.
I have set a goal to fundraise $1000 which will be going towards helping the affected families. It would be highly appreciated if you could donate or contribute towards this noble cause.
