Join us at Harcourts Holmwood in our commitment to Gumboot Friday.
Gumboot Friday is a FREE counselling service for any young person aged 25 and under in New Zealand. An overworked and under-resourced public mental health system has resulted in excruciatingly long wait times for those needing immediate help. Gumboot Friday was created to meet the needs of young people, providing free and timely access to counselling.
At Holmwood, community means everything to us, and we're passionate about enriching the lives of those in Aotearoa. We want to do everything we can to support this wonderful cause because young Kiwis need our help today to secure a brighter future. Without our support, there is no counselling for everyone.
We’re determined to spread the word and are taking action in various ways to raise funds leading up to Gumboot Friday on the 1st of November:
1. 'The Great Gumboot Friday Auction and Quiz Night': A fun-filled evening where we'll challenge our knowledge, auction amazing items, and hold a grand-finale raffle. All funds raised will be donated to Gumboot Friday.
2. Teddy Bears: We will auction 10 adorable teddy bears in the lead-up to Gumboot Friday on the 1st of November.
