Participating in Walk a Mile Challenge – help end homelessness

I am walking a mile a day, for 30 days, to support DCM and our amazing work in Wellington with those who need us most. And quite frankly, I could use the exercise! DCM is the leading social service in Wellington working with people who are experiencing homelessness, especially those who are roughing it. We are a grassroots organisation that relies on the support and generosity of the general public to keep our essential services running. So please support me - and DCM - with this important new fundraiser that we hope to make an annual event, and walk alongside the most marginalised and vulnerable people of our city with the Walk a Mile Challenge.

Several great musical acts come together to help end homelessness – supporting the work of DCM with those who need it most. And you can help too, by buying tickets to see Laura Collins & the Back Porch Blues Band, one man musical sensation Seamus Johnson, the one and only Dr Blue with Vicky Weeds, esoteric folk songwriter Beans and toe tapping band Two Times.
It's the official wrap up to the Walk a Mile Challenge for 2023.
There will also be a charity art auction at the event, run by a top auctioneer from Dunbar Sloane.
