Totara Hospice was our Dads first place of choice to go to when we needed more help and care in his final days. Although we were only there for a short time the staff were very supportive and caring to my Dad and our family and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of palliative care. Dad battled with x3 types of cancer from Sep 2015 to Oct 2018 when we sadly had to say our goodbyes. We have also lost family and friends who have fought their battles before, during and after our Dad lost his, so this is our way of giving something back and supporting Hospice.

I have called our Team "The Buttercups" as this was a favourite saying of mine that my Dad laughed at whenever I would say it to someone, so thereafter, when he was feeling down or ill and someone would complain or had a problem etc he would quietly say "Suck it up buttercup".......it would always make us stop in our tracks and laugh realising he was going through a lot worse then you were.
