Running 250 km across the Sahara Desert for NZ Flying Doctors Service
Canterbury
Raising awareness and funds for NZ Flying Doctors Service - who support the medical services in remote and isolated areas of the South Island. All medical transfers are critical, and the NZ Flying Doctors provide this essential service to save lives and get better patient outcomes.
By running 250km over 5 days through the Sahara Desert in temperatures ranging from -1 to +50 degrees, I aim to support this critical service. This run itself will be a challenge in extreme conditions, where I am required to carry all my belongings, including food, throughout the race.
I invite you to follow my journey via my instagram @davidcartwright20 (link below) and support my charity through this page.
