Cycling 3000km across NZ to raise funds for Yoga Education in Prisons Trust.

Nationwide

On 22nd February 2020 I am taking part in the Tour Aotearoa cycle challenge, cycling the length of New Zealand, approx 3000km, from Cape Reinga to Bluff unsupported.

I am inviting people to show support by fundraising for Yoga Education in Prisons Trust. They provide yoga and meditation education for prisoners, in prisons in New Zealand and rely predominantly on donations.

There are currently 200 prisoners completing the YEPT free Yoga Correspondence Course and several prisoners are being mentored to teach others while they are inside. My aim is to raise $3000 ($1 per km) to help them continue their important work and provide an opportunity and skillset for prisoners to reflect on their life, teach others and hopefully return to our communities as better people.

Funds raised will go directly to YEPT and will support their current project of gaining NZQA accreditation for the Yoga Correspondence Course.

Thanks in advance for all your generosity!
